Obtained from a tropical African plant, raffia has a distinctive long irregular shape. A natural material, it can be treated and dyed to create a shiny, hardwearing and light, finish. Almaplena updates its raffia, for s/s 2012, transforming it into an even softer and smoother material, ideal for summery clutches and dainty wrist bags with a contemporary flavour, in cool shades of ivory and copper, with contrast imitation leather trim.
